Great Movie

John Wayne classic. He and Ernie Kovacs have a 20-minute roving fistfight that some call the best in Western movie history. For my money, however, that title belongs to another of The Duke's movies, "McLintock!." "Ho McLintok! Big Party! But no whiskey! We go home now."

Chores...

Spent the past two months repairing and painting the two sheds in our back yard in Columbus. Painting is no fun, but these two buildings were in rapid decline. Now they're ready to go another decade.

This box contains everything I need to set up camp. Power lines, water hose, leveling blocks, etc. Now I don't have to open the back doors to set up camp. Pretty handy in a rain storm.

Found the time for a few rounds at the little 9-hole muny close to home. Didn't play a lot, mainly because of the stubborn cold weather - and then the rain.

Caught another Columbus Clippers game - although we didn't bring them the same luck as we did last summer. They lost to the Mud Hens 6-4.

Scrubbed the Graveytrain inside and out. That's a lotta square footage for the ol' foam brush I'll tell ya!

Bored Stiff and Ready for Our Next Adventure

OK, that's it! Heading off for Alaska tomorrow, 5/11. I've got a few stops with some familiar faces in Ohio, and more of the usual suspects in Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota before pointing Gravytrain towards the AlCan (Alaska/Canadain) Highway to Anchorage.
